According to the latest data from the Georgian National Tourism Administration, Georgia recorded 1,157,347 international visits in the first quarter of 2025, reflecting a 1.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
Out of the total, 958,947 were tourist visits (up 2.2% year-over-year), while 213,389 were same-day visits (down 2.4% year-over-year).
As in previous years, the highest number of visitors came from neighboring countries, with Turkey, Russia, and Armenia topping the list.

During the same period, tourism revenues reached USD 826 million, representing a 2.3% increase compared to the first quarter of 2024. This continued growth highlights the resilience of Georgia's tourism sector and its increasing contribution to the national economy.
