Tbilisi, 28 April — Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp Airlines is launching regular flights to Tbilisi and Batumi, the Civil Aviation Agency reports.

- 29 April to 2 October — Kharkiv–Batumi–Kharkiv, Wednesdays and Saturdays; from 27 May to 3 October, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays
- 1 May to 2 October — Lviv–Tbilisi–Lviv, Saturdays; from 2 June to 29 September, Wednesdays
- Lviv–Batumi–Lviv — Thursdays; from 29 May to 3 October, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays
- 30 April to 29 October — Odesa–Tbilisi–Odesa, Mondays and Fridays
- Odesa–Batumi–Odesa — Sundays; from 27 May to 3 October, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays
- Zaporizhzhia–Batumi–Zaporizhzhia — Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays
The Kyiv route
The airline is also increasing frequencies between the Georgian and Ukrainian capitals: from 28 May to 29 October, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday services will be added to the Kyiv–Tbilisi–Kyiv route.
The wider picture
At the time, airlines were operating 70 weekly flights to Georgia, with the figure expected to rise to 200 by summer. By comparison, only 10–12 weekly flights were operating in August 2020. Regular flights to the country resumed on 1 February 2021.
